Recently launched by Globoplay, the “Rensga Hits!” there will be new seasons. Globo’s director of digital products and pay channels, Erick Bretas, revealed that the attraction has already been renewed for the second season, but intends to ask producers to start thinking about the third as well.
“We are already with the second season. I’ll tell the creators to think about the second, third season. It’s a story that has the potential for many years. Of course, it all depends on how the creators see the trajectory of the characters, where they go,” he said. , in an interview with Gshow.
Bretas confirmed that “Rensga Hits!” was the most viewed series this week on Globoplay and considers the production a great discovery for the platform because it speaks of a very popular universe in Brazil, both in country music and in the presence of women in the genre.
“We have seen that it smells of success, because these are components that are very important: country music and in particular the feminejo, which is this aspect that has been immortalized by Marília Mendonça and by so many artists who have arrived. Of success. Of course. it depends on the execution. You can have a project that is beautiful on paper, but it is not well executed. But in this project everything has been executed very well: the delivery of the actresses, the direction, the scenography … “, praised the director.
The attraction got a big boost in its promotion on Globo, which aired the first two episodes of the song “Cinema Especial”, on August 3rd. The former also produced a record audience for the channel.
