The Brazilian automotive market recorded 213.8 thousand vehicles in August (-6.8% compared to July). The Volkswagen Polo obtained its fourth monthly victory in 2025 with 12,908 units, leaving the traditional pickup of the Fiat Strada champion in second place, with 11,833 plates. The data were issued in the automotive guide by the automotive consultancy company K.Lume.

Corolla Cross surpasses the Cross T in the SUV controversy

The third position went to Fiat Argo (10,097), showing the strength of the compact doors (two cars in the top 3). Just behind, the SUVs were highlighted: Toyota Corolla Cross (7,737) won the controversy with the Volkswagen T-Cross (7,702); They occupied the fourth and fifth position, respectively, in a direct clash by the segment.
