” It was intense and rewarding. After almost 40 years of trajectory, being able to transit between sexes and formats, from the soap opera to the contemporary series, through cinema and theater, is also a privilege and a responsibility. Each new project requires different attention, a renewed listening, a new aspect. I like challenges. I like to put myself in different places, strip my formulas and reinvent myself on the scene. The balance comes from this: the passion for crafts and the discipline that I have learned over time. “

I want to tell stories that show the complexity, beauty and plurality of the black experience. I am on the right way.”

“I hope the public will allow you to look at this story with other eyes, with today’s sensitivity. The new version of Dona Beja proposes to revisit the classic with a more critical, more inclusive and more aligned perspective with the problems that echoes today.
