The classification that was held on Saturday morning (06) in Catalonia was led by the Spaniard David Almansa who won his first post in the category by marking the fear of 1min46S877, overcoming Ángel Piqueras and Kelso.

How was the classification?

In Q1, Piquoras was made safe, ensuring his place with Yamanaka, Foggia and Buchanan for the next phase of the classification.

In Q2, Almansa has shone in the last few minutes and ensured the pole in Catalonia. The decisive phase of the classification began with intense traffic, with 18 cyclists trying to improve their times in the last 15 minutes. Adrián Fernández took the temporary end with 1min47s235, followed by Picras, Almansa and the league of the championship, Rueda.

After a short trip to the pits for the final changes, the pilots returned to the decisive line. Piqueras even recorded 1min47s086, assuming the momentary leadership, but Almansa passed everything with 1min46S877, winning the pole for Leopard, the first of Honda in the motorcycle season.
