The Star + platform has released the national trailer for “Wedding Season”, a British series starring Rosa Salazar (“Alita: Battle Angel”) and Gavin Drea (“Vikings: Valhalla”), which combines a romantic comedy with a mystery thriller.
Created by Oliver Lyttelton (“Cheaters”), the eight-episode production tells the story of Katie and Stefan, who fall in love at a wedding and start a relationship, despite Katie already having a boyfriend. Two months later, Katie’s marriage, instead of ending with “happily ever after”, ends up with eight poisoned people at the dinner table, including her boyfriend.
For the police, Stefan, the lover, was responsible. Stefan, on the other hand, believes that Katie is to blame. As they try to prove their innocence and discover the identity of the real culprit, the lovers discover themselves as the targets of the killer and decide to put their suspicions aside to escape.
The first will take place on 8 September.
