Euphoria: Season 3 will show characters after graduation

The third season of “Euphoria” will leave the school of characters behind. Star and producer Zendaya have revealed that plans for the next few episodes are to focus on the fate of the characters after they graduate from high school.

“I think it will be exciting to explore what happens to them after school,” the actress said in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. “I want to see how Rue handles her journey to sobriety, how chaotic it will be. But the other characters do too: I want to see how they understand what they want to do with their life after graduation, what kind of people they want to be.” she added.

The series barely touched the lives of the characters’ students in its second season, except for the scenes surrounding Lexi’s (Maude Apatow) school play.

Zendaya pointed out that the most special aspect of Season 2 is that it “dives into the characters much more deeply.” “I think we can do it again in the third year. We have a lot of talent in our squad, so we want to make sure everyone has a chance to shine.”

The new episodes don’t have a preview date yet.

Highly acclaimed, the series won three Emmys in its first season, including Best Actress for Zendaya, and was nominated for 16 new second-year awards at the 2022 Emmys.
