Tonight with family: All children of the 90’s have grown up with this rich animated film, but after 38 years, we often don’t talk about it

We are in 1985 in the Russian Empire. Although giant hungry cats terrorize cities, many mouse decides to leave their unhappy homes to go to the New World in America.

Immigrants include the Souriskewitz family, but during the dangerous crossing of the Atlantic Ocean, their son Fiyvil falls into the water due to a terrible storm. However, while traveling to the bottle in New York Port, young mice can now only count on their own to find their parents in this new world.

Don Blue’s genius

Chill, landscapes, adventure, surprising … Since it is not usual, in the late 80’s, on the Disney side is not that we are prioritized by this wide range of emotions when we discover a new animated film.

In a historical context that may not be more specific, as it reflects the departure of a Jewish family from Russia, which seeks to escape the Cossacks and arrive in America, this wonderful starting tale of Oliver Twist is a real classic that you can discover.

With rhythmed soundtrack and coach songs that you have to consider for a while, this film, which we will only talk about after 38 years, also rarely pays Spielberg’s grandfather as well as a European immigrant. Indeed, the latter was named Philip Posner, but his first name was in Idishi … Field.
