With this result the team led by coach Rafael Monzem confirmed itself in the quarterfinals of the state competition. After all, in the first leg, which took place at the Performance and Development Center, in Atibaia, Massa Bruta had beaten Leão Caipira 2-1, and with that they reached the second half of the match and could even equalize to stay alive in the competition.
Bragantino’s next opponent will be San Paolo. The first duel against Tricolor is scheduled for the 25th, at the CPD, at 9:00 (Brasilia time).
