The series that began the entire Digimon universe features Tai, Agumon, and the other DigiDestined: children transported to the digital world after encountering mysterious Digivices. They meet their Digimon partner and face evil creatures that threaten to dominate the Digital World.

With a tone of adventure and friendship, the season laid the foundation for the entire franchise, combining action, emotion and technology, and remains the most nostalgic season for fans who grew up watching 2000s anime.

A direct continuation of Adventure, the series introduces new DigiDestined: Davis, Ken, Yolei, and Cody, who receive new Digivices and Digimon partners. Together with the legendary original Digimon and TK and Kari, now teenagers, they face digital threats with advanced technology.

The season maintains the spirit of adventure and friendship, adding new elements to the series’ mythology.

Considered one of the best seasons of the franchise, Tamers adopts a darker and more independent tone than previous stories. Here Digimon begin to emerge into the real world as a result of a trading card game, bringing danger and mystery.

Takato Matsuki, a fan of the game, creates Guilmon from his Blue Card and teams up with Henry and Rika, Terriermon and Renamon’s partners, to face the wild Digimon.

The series tackles complex themes such as fear, loss and growth.

The Frontier saga has a factor that differentiates it from the previous ones: the protagonists do not control the Digimon, but transform into them using ancient Spirits.

The story follows six children chosen to restore the balance between light and darkness in the digital world, facing powerful enemies and awakening their spiritual powers.

Before the arrival of the DigiDestined, ten Legendary Warriors sealed Lucemon and left twenty Spirits in the care of the Celestial Digimon. With Cherubimon’s betrayal, Ophanimon calls on humans to protect the world.

Takuya, Koji, Zoe, JP, and Tommy travel the Digital World, purifying corrupted Digimon with D-Tector and unlocking new forms and powers.

This season we have the return of the digital partners and Agumon as the protagonist. The plot follows Marcus Damon, who is part of the Digital Accident Tactics Squad (DATS), an organization responsible for protecting the human world and the digital world by returning dimension-spanning Digimon.

Marcus discovers that Merukimon and the scientist Akihiro Kurata pose a threat to humanity. Kurata manages to convince the government that all Digimon are dangerous, putting humans at risk.

Digimon Fusion/Xros Wars (2010)

In Digimon Fusion, three friends are transported to the digital world after hearing a mysterious melody coming from the Fusion Loader.

There, they team up with Digimon Shoutmon and other allies to face the Bagra Army, who seeks to dominate the digital world by collecting Code Crowns. Using the DigiFusion technique, they combine Digimon to increase their powers.

The series is the longest of all animations, with 3 story arcs and 79 episodes.

Set in 2045, the series features Appmons, artificial beings born from mobile applications. Haru Shinkai meets Gatchmon and discovers that the Leviathan artificial intelligence creates viruses to corrupt Appmon.

With the help of his friends, each with their own Appmon, Haru faces Leviathan and protects the balance between the real and digital worlds.

The season combines adventure, humor and modern themes such as artificial intelligence and social networks, maintaining the spirit of the franchise by exploring the interaction between humans and technology.

Reboot of the 1999 series, featuring high-definition animation and reimagined storytelling. The season brings back Tai, Agumon and the DigiDestined, this time at a faster pace.

In the plot, cyber attacks on Tokyo and events in the Digital World force the protagonists to face Argomon and other enemies, discovering their role as protectors of both worlds.

The series maintains the classic themes of friendship and courage, with an updated look. Although it served to gain new fans, many fans still consider the original season superior.

Unrest in the digital world creates viruses that turn Digimon hostile, forcing the protagonists to join forces again. With the arrival of Meiko Mochizuki and her partner Meicoomon, they face old threats and discover the consequences of growing up while maintaining the bonds of friendship.

The series combines nostalgia and more mature plots, exploring themes such as separation, responsibility and unity, but with the essence of the franchise’s digital adventures and battles. Originally released in six films, it was edited into 26 anime episodes.

In Digimon Ghost Game, Hiro Amanokawa activates Digivice -V- and begins seeing Digimon appearing as supernatural entities in the real world. Together with Ruli Tsukiyono, Angoramon, Kiyoshirō Higashimitarai and Jellymon, Hiro faces strange phenomena.

The dark aesthetic and episodic plot offer a new take on the franchise, exploring the hidden side of Digimon and the impact of technology on everyday life.

The most recent series in the franchise. In it, the “e-Pulse” energy, generated by human thoughts and emotions, powers the Sapotama device and awakens the dangerous Digimon. By consuming this energy, Digimon evolve and become more and more powerful.

The protagonist Tomoro Tenma lives in a world where e-Pulse moves technology but also threatens the stability of society. After meeting Gekkomon, he joins Kyo Sawashiro and the secret group Glowing Dawn to face corrupted Digimon and uncover the secrets behind the system controlled by human emotions.
