Singer enters a new phase with new and revisited tracks that expand the romantic universe

Lucas Carlos confirmed that he will release the deluxe version of his album Looking for Romance Love Show (2024) on October 22, 2025, with extra tracks and surprises to deepen the emotional narrative of the original record. The news marks a new chapter in the artist’s career, who had already been preparing the ground with the single “just (one more) time”released as the first single from the special edition.

The choice to release a deluxe album is faced by Lucas as a natural extension of the original project, and not just another relaunch. “These are songs that were born from that same feeling, but with other colors, other layers”, stated the singer in an interview with R&B Brazil. He added that there will be fewer participations compared to the original version: “In the deluxe I think there is only one singing feat. The rest is collaboration with producers.”

New chapter, same essence

Looking for Romance Love Show is his third studio album, released by the label Koala Music. With 12 tracks, it moves between rap, R&B, drill and funk, exploring love in its facets with appearances by artists such as Don L, Djonga, Roof and AKA FK.

Before the project, Lucas had already launched projects such as youngCARLOS (2022) and Two (2023), and the public saw him mainly as the singer of the “lovesongs”. And he has confessed that sometimes he felt the pressure of “singing what the public wants”, and that his songs did not always express what he actually experienced. “I sang things I didn’t want to,” he said.

Finally, with the deluxe version, he signals that he wants to assert an artistic identity that dialogues less with other people’s expectations and more with his truth. It’s a chance to revisit affective territories in a freer and less conditioned way — without losing the melodic charm that has always been his trademark.
