Family Investigation on TF1: Will there be a season 2?

After three weeks on air, TF1 is already broadcasting this Thursday, October 16, the last two episodes of Enquête en famille, its new detective series starring Clémentine Cellarié, Bernard Le Coq and Naima Rodrique.

A conquering family

Back in Rennes, police captain Charlene Roche hopes to start a new life with Paul-Henri, her companion. However, the return to the hometown does not go at all as planned.

Indeed, Paul-Henri leaves her and Charlene discovers that she was adopted. The icing on the cake is that she also finds out she is pregnant.

And as if all that wasn’t enough, Charlene also has to deal with particularly intrusive parents. It must be said that Claire and Philippe Rochette took their daughter to Rennes to satisfy her passion for thrillers and get involved in his investigation.

They are hyper possessive and invasive parents. They cannot let their daughter go. They were blinded by their love for him… but we’ll see that it’s not all in vain!“, Clementine Cellarie explained in a recent column Recreational television.

The opinion is shared by Bernard Le Coq, who plays Philippe. “They are some “burners”.. These two old men are selfish and want to act like children by interfering with their daughter’s investigation to help her, but in reality they mostly want to help themselves!“.

Will Family Investigation be eligible for a second season?

After three weeks on the air, the adventure of the Rochette family is coming to an end. Even if the finale promises to answer some questions, it clearly leaves the door open for a sequel.

As of now, TF1 has yet to officially order a new season for Enquête en famille, as always waiting for a full three-week audience evaluation before making a decision.
