Death of 27-year-old Liad Smane, actor in Plus belle la vie and Steve’s translator in Un si grand soleil.

Actor Lyad Smain, known for his roles in the series Plus belle la vie and Un si grand soleil, died on October 18 at the age of 27. It was France 3’s Facebook page that broke the sad news. The circumstances of his death are not known.

“Liad was part of the great Un si grand soleil family where he portrayed the character of Steve. His talent, his generosity and his smile will remain etched in our memories and the hearts of the entire team. We are deeply thinking of his family, his loved ones and all those who were lucky enough to be in his path. Thank you for everything, Liad.”said the production of the series.

Revealed in Plus belle la vie

Before playing Steve in Un si grand soleil, Liad Smaine made his television debut in Plus belle la vie. He played the character of Victor Barazi, a Syrian immigrant who came to Marseille to find his uncle. There she fell under the spell of Antoine, a transgender boy.
