The wait is over: Rosalía officially announced the release of their fourth studio album, LUXscheduled for November 7, 2025 by Columbia Records. In a publicity action in the Spanish capital, Rosalía caused a stir: she opened a live on TikTok (she was banned for smoking and transferred the broadcast to Instagram) driving a car decorated with rosary to Gran Vía, ran down the street and led thousands of fans to Plaza del Callao, where the album cover was displayed on big screens. There, she shared in a live broadcast that she dedicated three years to structuring LUXwhose visual aesthetic refers to religious, spiritual elements and a more orchestral and emotionally charged sound.

After the impact of MOTOMAMI (2022), which redefined its aesthetics and globalized its name, Rosalía retreated, collaborating with names like Bjork and exploring more experimental territories. Now, with LUXthe artist promises an even more introspective and amplified return: a work that moves between the sacred and the profane, between the intimacy of the guitar and the operatic scale of contemporary music.

Rosalía prepares the launch of LUX like a rite of passage, not just an album, but a complete aesthetic experience. The title means “light” in Latin and can already give clues to a narrative that promises to explore femininity, transformation and transcendence.
