Launched in October 2023, Lahai represented the return of Sampha after six years of silence since Process (2017). The title of the album is a tribute to his daughter and how she changed the way he sees life.

Between electronic synthesizers, organic percussions and layered vocals, the project became a milestone in artistic maturity. Tracks like “Spirit 2.0”, “Only” and “Dancing Circles” exemplify the combination of technique and vulnerability that define the sound of Sampha.
