Didier Bourdon + 2 million admissions: this successful comedy reveals its sequel! First pictures

It’s one of the surprise blockbusters of 2023: The Hunt, a comedy with Didier Bourdon, Chantal Ladesu, Camille Lus and Hakim Cemilly. The sequel will be released in theaters soon, on December 10!

The trailer of Chasse gardee has been released recently.

The official content has been revealed

We know the synopsis of this sequel. We find the characters in a time frame that is located two years after the plot of the first film. Two years have passed in St. Hubert. Life there is quiet, perhaps too much for Adelaide and Simon, who lack friends at their age. It follows the arrival of Stanislas, the son of Bernard (former president of the Village Hunters), who returns to live in the countryside with his wife and two children. They are beautiful, young and friendly. Their only fault: they hunt with dogs! The peace of the village will be disturbed: new neighbors, new problems…

Successful first part

Antoine Furlon and Frédéric Forestier’s first film attracted 2 million viewers. Given the scale of the success, the opportunity for a sequel quickly arose. Less than a month after the film’s release, we noted that the film’s team was already working on ideas: “We think very seriously”Lucie Trampoglier, director general of UGC Distribution, told Le Parisien. He added:It was during the Covid that the screenwriter imagined the people of the neo-village in front of the hunters. Here you have to find the right idea.”

In theaters on December 10, 2025

The casting will be unchanged (Didier Bourdon, Camille Lou, Hakim Gemil, Chantal Ladessou, but also Thierry Lhermitte, Julien Pestel, Jean-Francois Caire…), except for a new arrival: Maxime Gastel is joining the cast!

Is Private Hunting with Didier Bourdon a good movie? The first viewers to express their opinion

The first part took us to a village without history. A dream home surrounded by nature is for sale in the heart of this magnificent region. For Simon and Adélaïde, who are huddled in their Paris apartment with their two children, this is the perfect opportunity to get away from the hell of the city.

But the dream quickly turns into a nightmare when they discover that the friendly neighbors are using their garden… for hunting! War was declared and all (low) blows were allowed!

The release date is December 10, 2025, two years after the first part.
