In an exclusive interview with Rolling Stone Brazilhe says: “This show will be a very special stop for me. There are people there who saw me grow up, who know my family, who know about my first battles, when I was still dreaming of making a living from art and had nothing guaranteed. Coming back now, with this album ready, with everything that has happened… is very significant.”

The reunion with the public and with one’s own history

Launched in May, Fragmented is the first studio album by Shaman in five years. It brings together 25 new tracks that cross hip hop, MPB, rock and poetry. It’s an album of contrasts — introspective and grand, urban and spiritual — that reflects the artist’s maturation after an intense phase of achievements inside and outside of music. The album keeps alive the essence of boom bap that made it famous, but opens up space for experimentation and dialogue with other languages, consolidating the balance between lyricism and the strength of the beats.

With participation from Milton Nascimento, Creole, black alien, Liniker, BK’, Adriana Calcanhotto, Victor Shaman, Flora Matos and Agnes Nunesthe project shows how Shaman became a point of convergence for contemporary Brazilian music. “I’m very happy to be able to share the stage with artists that I really admire, people who inspire me and who were part of this journey”, he says. “It’s a celebration of everything I’m living and building, and a warm-up for what’s to come with the tour.”

Between rap, cinema and TV

The versatility of Shaman overtakes the microphone. In 2025, he stood out in the audiovisual field: he debuted in the cinema, won the Kikito of Best Supporting Actor node Gramado Festival and now joins the cast of the soap opera Three Gracesin Globein addition to starring in the series Netflix The Game Ownersreleased on October 29th.

The production also brought a new musical collaboration: “Federals”partnership with Victor Shaman and Ana Electric Chicken which is part of the series’ soundtrack. “THE Victor He’s a brother, a very talented guy, and there’s always a good rapport when we work together”, he says. “A Dwarf It’s incredible, I really admire her sound. I think it’s really cool to connect different styles, play with the boundaries of music. I never liked labels or being trapped in boxes. ‘Feds’ It came in the spirit of uniting my musical side with my acting side, in a project that also talks about power, choices and morals.”

Between recordings, stages and scripts, the artist sees the moment as one of the most intense and fertile of his career. “It’s tiring, but it’s good tiredness, for someone who is living their daydream,” he says. “I am able to move between music, cinema and TV, expressing myself in different ways and continuing to surprise myself along the way.”
