Tomorrow Belongs to Us: Heat, Fire Warning… We have Salome Benita behind the scenes at Boot Camp

Since October 17, Violette (Salome Benita), Elie (Carla Roturier), Marceau (David Mussett), Kevin (Gabin Vizona), Bastien (Nicolas Jacquenes) and several of their comrades participate in a boot camp in the great outdoors to enhance team advertising and experience.

The opportunity for actors to leave the usual parameters of Tomorrow is ours and offer the audience an exotic and humorous story.

For this arch like no other, a series of cameras were installed from August 12 to 29 in the Basile estate, a huge park located in the town of Hero, Montagne. A special shoot, but not an easy one.

“It was 45 degrees”

If the currently aired episodes are perfectly suited to the autumn season, the actors in turn filmed in the middle of the heat and during the fire alarm period.

It was 45 degrees. We filmed in the middle of the heat during a fire alarm“, explain Salome BenitaViolet’s interpreter, Alocine at the microphone.

A few days before the shooting, a big fire broke out in the estate of the Basils, which destroyed almost 20 hectares of pine forest.

It was impressive because we shot at the edge where it was burnt. As a result, we were very aware of the fire. It was very trying. It was very hot“, the actor specifies.

A tiring but unforgettable shoot

Despite the extreme conditions, good humor never left the scene.

It was funny!– confides Salome Benita, before adding, –We laughed from start to finish. We had a lot of sequences to do every day, in very little time. We need to fit the circles into squares. But we laughed a lot. Axel Keener is definitely the clown of the team. They were hell together with Robbie Sheena (laughs). It was a real sight. We laughed a lot, it was good. It was a memorable, exhausting and so much fun shoot.“.

If she had only one memory to remember, Salome would keep the scene of Benita’s trial with the ropes, where Eli wins over Salome. “This is the scene where we laughed the most. Axel Kiner performed a very funny dance between the shots, I filmed everything. I’m organizing a bootcamp, you’ll have proof soon (laughs). We were so tired that we were complaining, we forgot the words. I left laughing and crying under the logs. I couldn’t stay serious, I was laughed at too much!“.

Ko-Lanta touch on the set

To complete the immersion, Boot Camp events are thought out down to the smallest detail. For reference, the accessories used are made by the same teams as Co-Lanta.

“TAll the logs used for the events were made by the same teams as for the Ko-Lanta Games. We had the same experience at our games and had the impression of being there (laughs).“- concludes the actor.
