The new season of the medical series will debut in October in the United States and will introduce new faces to the public

The upcoming 19th season of the medical series “Grey’s Anatomy” has revealed the list of actors who will participate in its episodes, indicating who arrives, who returns and who is leaving the plot.
According to the report, Chandra Wilson (who plays the character of Bailey), James Pickens Jr. (Webber), Kevin McKidd (Owen Hunt), Kim Raver (Teddy Altman), Camilla Luddington (Jo Wilson), Caterina Scorsone (Beth Whitman) , Kelly McCreary (Maggie Pierce), Chris Carmack (Atticus Lincoln), Jake Borelli (Levi) Schmitt) and Anthony Hill (Winston Ndugu) will appear in every episode of the next season.
As a result, next year will focus almost entirely on secondary characters, as well as include several new characters, who will fill the rotating resident slots at Gray-Sloan Memorial Hospital, played by newcomers Niko Therho (“Sweetbitter”), Adelaide Kane ( “SEAL Team”), Midori Francis (“Dash & Lily”), Harry Shum Jr. (“Shadowhunters”) and Alexis Floyd (“Inventing Anna”), who are pictured above with James Pickens Jr., Dr. Webber.
The change became necessary after star and producer Ellen Pompeo announced that she would be cutting her stake to pursue another project. Pompeo will still be the series narrator, but her participation in the new season has been reduced to just eight episodes.
Whoever lost this was actor Scott Speedman (“Animal Kingdom”). He had only signed on for one season, playing Meredith Gray’s (Pompeo) love interest. If their romance continues, the actor could gain more space. But with the protagonist’s departure, this will not happen.
Speedman will only return for season 19 as a guest star, likely to give his character time to end his relationship with Meredith. The end of their relationship had already been indicated at the end of the previous season, when Meredith and Nick (Speedman) had a fight. At the time, he said he should go back to Minnesota. He left and she, sorry, ran after him, but did not reach him.
The nineteenth season of “Grey’s Anatomy” will debut October 6 on the US channel ABC. In Brazil, the series is broadcast on the Sony channel. Previous seasons of “Grey’s Anatomy” can also be seen on Prime Video, Globoplay and Star + streaming services.
