Thelma from the land of ice – from 5 years old
Released on November 19 – Thelma may be a baby penguin, but she can’t stand the rules of her icy world, perhaps because she was raised in the big forest by Wilhelm the cat and Sofia the mouse. On her fifth birthday, Thelma is determined to see her friends again, even if it means disobeying her family. She embarks on a fantastic adventure that teaches her what it means to be herself.
Although Thelma’s favorite character in Frozen is a penguin, she has all the things of a child: clothes, blankets and even a little voice. There’s nothing better than making young moviegoers as young as 5 identify with this intrepid character.
Moreover, all the characters presented in this animated film are animals (penguin, cat, mouse, octopus or snail), which represent many aspects of human personality, just like in Lafontaine’s fables, which gives us Thelma of the Ice Country A dimension of children’s history. So informative and entertaining!

A day after the release of Wicked, Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo (but also Jonathan Bailey, Ethan Slater, Jeff Goldblum, and Michelle Yeoh) are back with the second installment, Wicked: For Good by Jon M. Chu (to whom we owe Elusive 2). This sequel has a colossal budget of $756 million Even more magic is promised in the heart of the land of OZ, provided you have already seen the first film.
A 10-year-old child, already accustomed to fantasy tales (such as Narnia or Harry Potter), will be seduced by the atmosphere that reigns in this dream world. However, the pace of the film, its length, as well as the messages it conveys (and especially the issue of good and evil) require a lot of attention, so our recommendation is for ages 12 and up. An ideal feature film for pre-teens and older.
The Little Christmas Fanfare – from 3 years
Released on November 26 – In the heart of winter, the snow covers everything with its thick white coat, slowly silence settles in… but if you listen carefully, you can hear the hum of the forest in the rhythm of the animals. The magic of Christmas begins here with a symphony.
La Petite fanfare de Noël is a program consisting of 4 short films on the theme of winter and music. Bears and foxes open the ball with a Christmas concert, followed by a merry cacophony of little yetis. Then it’s the turn of the butterflies, birds and trees to offer the children a musical ballet, while the elephants close the ball with their “musifantasy”.
These 4 short films, both funny and full of rhythm, will introduce the little ones to many percussion instruments such as timpani, xylophone, maraca, but also trumpet. There’s no doubt that after 40 minutes, kids and adults alike will find it hard to sit still and want to move to this musical program. Let the party begin!
Zootopia from 2 – 6 years
Released on November 26 – After solving Zootopia’s biggest criminal case, our beloved detectives Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde must take on a new challenge: tracking down a mysterious snake that has just arrived in Zootopia. To solve this new case, our two heroes must venture into unexpected areas of the city, for better or worse!
We’ve been eagerly waiting for it and it’s finally hitting the screens… Zootopia 2! Nine years after the success of the first part (rated 4.3 by AlloCiné Internet users), Byron Howard (to whom we owe Encanto and Rapunzel) returns with these extraordinary adventures, which have nothing to fear from our two heroes: Judy Hopps, an optimistic and purposeful rabbit, and Nick Wilde, suspicious and suspicious.
The incredible investigation of the detectives will be supported by the music of Michael Giacchino, who is none other than the composer credited for his work on Vice Versa, Up There and Ratatouille. In terms of vocal casting, we recognize the voices of Jean Reno, Ginnifer Goodwin, Jason Bateman or even Idris Elba and Ke Hui Quan.
And the least we can say is that this second installment is one of the most anticipated animated films of 2025. Let’s hope that Zootopia 2 will live up to our expectations, as will the mini-series of short films derived from the original film!
