Un Si Grand Soleil: “I didn’t expect to be called”… Patrick Puidebat talks about his arrival in the series

On November 19, Patrick Puidebat, Nicolas’ interpreter in Helen and Boys and Secrets of Love, will arrive at Un si grand soleil.

He gives his features to Richard Conte, a businessman with questionable activities. “Richard has several more or less legal activities. He is officially a boat dealer and unofficially deals in counterfeiting luxury goods. It unfolds between Margulins trying to trap each otherPatrick Puidebat specifies in an interview with our colleagues TV 7 days.

During this arc, Richard Conte will notably cross paths with Dimitri (Victorien Robert) and Lucas (Jules Cherbonnier), as well as Sibylla, a newcomer played by Julia Duschaussoy.

“I didn’t expect to be called.”

In an interview with Télé 7 Jours, the actor returned to the tests conducted in the series. He also admits that he didn’t think he would get the role.

He recalls, “I conducted the test in a small office with no air conditioning, where two assistants were in complete agony. I stumbled across the floor and asked to start my scene again, but they refused: they just wanted it over with! I left, disappointed and not expecting to be called. and yet…“.

Before joining Un si grand soleil, Patrick Puidebat had never watched the series. “As soon as it was confirmed that I was hired, I started working. I have neighbors and friends who are fans. I didn’t know that the series was so successful.” he confides.

If Patrick Puidebat continues to star in the daily soap opera France 3 for the duration of Intrigue, he still won’t close the door to a possible return. “I’m not going to lie, I’d love to go back. Let’s see…“.
