What is the story of Amsterdam Empire?
In Amsterdam Empire, Betty Jonkers (Famke Janssen), a former pop diva, who abandoned her career to become a devoted wife, discovers that she is being cheated on by her husband and, to get revenge, decides to go after all of his assets, including his network of coffee shops Jackal, a reference in the marijuana trade in Amsterdam.
The new cast also includes Jacob Derwig (Elixir), Elise Schaap (Operation Ecstasy), Jade Olieberg (From Club), Yannick van de Velde (The King’s Knights), Jesse Mensah (The Sound of Chaos) and Bart Slegers (Phoenix), between others.
