Right fans were surprised by the hiatus after the successful resumption of season 21 with the news that Anthony Anderson would not be returning for season 22 . It was one of the most important names linked to the Renaissance, since, together with Sam Waterston, who returns – reprized a role from the show’s original run. The show won’t be back for another month, but the showrunner dropped some details on how Detective Kevin Bernard will be kicked out.
Anderson’s departure was a particularly big surprise after him celebrated the news that Right it had been renewed for season 22, but according to showrunner Rick Eid, fans shouldn’t expect a great start for Kevin Bernard. Detective Jalen Shaw (Brooks) will work with Cosgrove during the crossover of three shows with the premieres of the season of THIS , SVU Yes Head in the month of September. Shaw will then go to the police station and Eid explained:
You got the idea that Cosgrove liked working with him, and then we discovered Anthony’s character [Anderson] played has evolved.
Let’s hope Kevin Bernard is gone for good reason that will make his absence more bittersweet than tragic. It seems safe to say that the show won’t reveal that he was killed on a hiatus, especially in the light. of season 21 subverting expectations and don’t end up in some kind of suspense. If the mention doesn’t go until episode 2 of season 22, fans have more than a month to wait previews of Right and the rest of Dick Wolf’s shows aired the week of September 19.
