Ben Affleck’s mother, Christine Anne Boldt, was rushed to an emergency hospital just hours before the actor’s wedding to Jennifer Lopez.
According to the Daily Mail, the actor’s mother fell off a pier at the party venue, an Affleck property in Riceboro, Georgia. She ended up cutting her leg in the fall. Reports point out that the star found her mother injured and she asked for help.
The ambulance arrived at the event address, rescued the actor’s mother and left the scene with an escort of two security cars.
A source said the fall was not serious. In fact, Christine has already been released in a wheelchair. She was seen a few hours later leaving the hospital with her son and her daughter-in-law. So the party can finally begin.
