The unforgettable actress Claudia Jimenez, interpreter of Edileuza, in the historic program “Sai de Baixo”, and of Dona Cacilda, in “Escolinha do Professor Raimundo”, died this Saturday morning (20 years old), at the age of 63. , in the Samaritan Hospital, in Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro. So far, the cause of her death has not been released.
Claudia, during her life, had to undergo a cure for cancer. According to G1, in 1986, the actress discovered a malignant tumor behind her heart. She was diagnosed after seeing a doctor for having a persistent cough.
The radiation therapy process was painful and difficult. Unfortunately, Claudia ended up developing other health complications as, according to the same doctors, her treatment affected her heart tissues.
Due to this problem, Claudia has performed three other surgeries in her life: one to place five cardiac bypasses, in 1999; another to replace his aortic valve with a synthetic one in 2012; and the most recent to place a pacemaker, in 2014.
