With the success of “Uncharted”, Sony is preparing yet another video game adaptation through its PlayStation Productions division. It’s “Days Gone”, adapted by screenwriter Sheldon Turner (“X-Men: First Class”).
Actor Sam Heughan, who plays Jamie Fraser in “Outlander,” is negotiating the lead role, Deacon St. John.
The game created by Bend Studios is set in the Pacific Northwest after a devastating global pandemic and follows motorcyclist Deacon St. John as he struggles to survive despair and mutants, in search of the lost and presumably dead love of his life.
According to Deadline, Turner’s script will pay homage to biker movies, but with western and zombie horror elements.
