Such a Big Sun in Advance: Summary for Tuesday, August 23, 2022 [SPOILERS]

After Miriam’s death, Elizabeth and Alain cut short the weekend and return to Montpellier in the wake of the disaster. A taxi led by Allen is waiting for them at the airport. A confused businessman refuses to go home for vacation and wants to rush to L Cosmetiques. He does not realize that Miriam is dead. Allen tries to calm him down.

Arriving at L Cosmétiques, Elizabeth addresses the staff. In tears, she honors the magnificent woman that was Miriam. One employee is particularly affected by this tragedy, and that is Laurent Berthier. He sees Mirian again, bathed in blood. Bilal and Enrique come to see her to support her. The latter advises him to rest for a day or two and talk to a professional.

Claire, on the other hand, is devastated. Miriam was his best friend. Florenti, who doesn’t consider going to work, suggests that she take a few days off and also suggests that they both take a break to get together. But it is not up. Florent worries about his companion: Claire does not eat, sleep or speak.

He wanted her to talk to him about his feelings and sorrows. But Claire doesn’t know exactly how she feels. He doesn’t understand why his best friend left for the night. It doesn’t make sense in his eyes. Claire breaks down crying in Florentine’s arms. After being in the hospital, Claire breaks down once again and then confides in Jasmine that she has lost her best friend. He advises her to go home, but the doctor refuses.

Later, Claire and Elizabeth team up to support each other. Claire does not understand what happened and does not realize that Miriam is no longer there. Elizabeth, on the other hand, condemns that the relationship with the young woman was damaged before the tragedy. He never forgives himself.

Claire tries to reassure her, explaining that Miriam saw her not only as a friend, but as her mentor. He was delighted and grateful for everything he was able to teach.

Alex, on the other hand, is furious. He does not understand why he was excluded from the investigation of Miriam’s death. Julie tries to calm him down and advises him to trust his colleagues, and most importantly, catch the culprit. But Alex is on edge and angry. The young woman had never seen him in this condition. He ends up apologizing to her.

At the police station, Manu and Ian, who are in charge of the investigation into Miriam’s death, talk to Becker. The autopsy report confirms the initial findings. The young woman rested her head on a piece of wood. One of his kidneys was punctured, causing bleeding.

He bled to death before help arrived. For the police, Miriam’s death is not an accident. They suspect the theft was botched. 200 tubes of cream were stolen with a loss of EUR 8,000.

But they do not understand why the boxes are soaked in gasoline. Lt. Cross speculates that someone was jealous of L Cosmetics and wanted to burn it down. Since there are no signs of an attack, Becker wonders if the perpetrator didn’t want it on Myriam personally.

As the murder investigation continues, Ian and Manu interrogate Miriam’s relatives as well as some of the employees. They question Enrique in particular, who explains to them that he locked the warehouse twice around 8pm, like every day.

But he’s not the only one with access to the keys and offers to give Ian a list of names. In turn, Manu questions Louis and Mark. He also asks the latter what his relationship with Miriam was and where he was on the evening of his death.

Alex, unable to sit idle, finds Manu. He asks her not to investigate from his side. He assures that he will be informed about the progress of the investigation. But this is a misunderstanding, Alex.

The young man will actually wait for Manu to leave his office to look at the files without his knowledge. He then looks at photos of L Cosmétiques employees and is surprised to discover that Jade is the company’s assistant accountant.

At the tennis club, Kira meets Leonore, who is worried about Louis. The young man has been closing in on himself for several days. He asks her when was the last time she saw him. Kira lies to him, explaining that they went to the movies and then went for a walk the night of Mirian’s death. Leonor tries to dig in, but the young girl refuses.

Kira later finds Louis and explains that he is interested in his mother. She tries to avoid it, but is embarrassed and urges him to tell the truth. But Louis dismisses the idea and makes sure Kira continues to cover for him.
