Prime Video released the final trailer for its original series “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power” on Tuesday morning, 23rd.
2 minutes and 36 seconds long, the trailer presents the Second Age of Middle-earth, centered on the character of Galadriel, anticipating the union of the characters created by JRR Tolkien against the resurgence of evil in this universe.

In addition to Galadriel, played by Morfydd Clark, we have many other characters featured in the trailer. Among them are Elrond (Robert Aramayo), the High King of the Elves Gil-galad (Benjamin Walker) and Celebrimbor (Charles Edwards); Hairyfoot Elanor “Nori” Brandyfoot (Markella Kavenagh) and Largo Brandyfoot (Dylan Smith); The Stranger (Daniel Weyman); the Númenóreans Isildur (Maxim Baldry), Eärien (Ema Horvath), Elendil (Lloyd Owen), Pharazôn (Trystan Gravelle) and the queen regent Míriel (Cynthia Addai-Robinson); the dwarf king Durin III (Peter Mullan), Prince Durin IV (Owain Arthur) and Princess Disa (Sophia Nomvete); Halbrand (Charlie Vickers); Bronwyn (Nazanin Boniadi); and the Elf Arondir (Ismael Cruz Córdova).
Despite the September 2 release date, the series will arrive a little earlier than the one with two preview episodes along at 10pm PT on September 1 on Prime Video. After that, “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power” will premiere weekly episodes on Fridays at 1am (Brazil time).
Action in Rio de Janeiro
The trailer for the series will also be shown on a cube formed by giant screens about 10 meters high, on Copacabana beach, in Rio de Janeiro.
The action kicked off this Sunday, 21st, and will run until next Thursday, 25th. In addition to the launch trailer, fans will see unreleased footage from the series and will be able to take paneled photos with the main characters.
