The movie “Pinocchio”, starring Tom Hanks and directed by Robert Zemeckis, won a new official trailer and poster this Wednesday (24).
“Pinocchio” is a live reinterpretation of the famous story of the wooden puppet created by Geppetto (Tom Hanks). The film will follow the adventure of Pinocchio (Benjamin Evan Ainsworth) to become a real boy.
The puppet, as he is known, has the help of his guide, Jiminy Cricket (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), and the Blue Fairy (Cynthia Erivo) on this journey. The film will bring classic characters back to life and introduce new faces to the story of the puppet who wants to become a boy.
“Pinocchio” had already won his first trailer, and now he gets a new one, with new unpublished images, in addition to the new poster.

The film is directed by acclaimed Robert Zemeckis, Oscar winner for “Forrest Gump,” where he directed Tom Hanks, who is also in the film. The screenplay is written by Robert Zemeckis and Chris Weitz. Andrew Miano, Chris Weitz, Robert Zemeckis and Derek Hogue are producing the film, with Jack Rapke, Jacqueline Levine, Jeremy Johns and Paul Weitz serving as executive producers.
In addition to Hanks, the cast of the film includes big names like Benjamin Evan Ainsworth, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Keegan-Michael Key, Lorraine Bracco, with Cynthia Erivo and Luke Evans.
As for the soundtrack, “Pinocchio” will have classic songs like “When You Wish Upon a Star”, which will be played by Cynthia Erivo. But it won’t stop there and new songs will be introduced, written by Oscar nominees Alan Silvestri and Glen Ballard.
“Pinocchio” arrives exclusively on Disney + on September 8th.
