The police continue to investigate Miriam’s death. The investigators returned to a certain Perez. The man has already been convicted several times for absconding and theft. He is the one who sells online the creams that were stolen from L Cosmétiques on the evening of Myriam’s death.
During questioning, he told the police that he bought the product in a store. But what he doesn’t know is that these creams weren’t even on the market yet. Fearful of being wrongfully accused of murder, Perez eventually admitted to investigators that he bought the products from a homeless man.
Later that day, Leonor got a call from Ian asking her to see Louis that afternoon. Mark’s ex-wife shows up alone at the police station. Convinced that Louis is guilty of Miriam’s murder, Leonor condemns herself in his stead.
In turn, Florent calls Claire. He can’t stop thinking about what he told her the night before about Kira. He wants to talk to the young girl and encourage her to tell her what she knows about Miriam’s death. Claire then asks him to wait for her to arrive. Kira, in love with Louis, is afraid that the teenager is turning up his nose.
Claire then explains to her companion that she shouldn’t wait for him at dinner because she has a friend to see. In fact, he borrows an old convertible American car and gets lost in his memories during the trip. This is how he remembers his night outs with Miriam. He stops by the beach and drinks two glasses of champagne: one for himself and one for his dead friend.
Alix’s art gallery opens for a few days. He absolutely wanted to exhibit the works of Ulis Brunel, but the artist took him as an amateur and did not want to entrust him with his paintings. A young woman struggles to achieve her goals.
He asks for Claudine’s help. Alix wants her friend to borrow her masterpieces to install in her gallery. The young woman goes so far as to ask Claudine to contact her art collector friends to do the same with their paintings.
To her friend’s surprise, Alix explains to him that she only wants to attract potential buyers. And if someone wants to buy a work, he will make them believe that it is already sold and offer his artist’s canvas. Claudine finally gives up.
A few hours later, Alix goes to Ulis Brunel again. He wants to propose to her, but the young man refuses. That’s when Claudine calls her, as agreed upon earlier. Alix then takes the call and quotes the names of famous artists in front of Ulysses.
When he finds out that he is going to exhibit his masterpieces, he shows interest. Then Alix makes him a very interesting proposal. If he agrees to work with him, Ulysses will receive 80% of the opening day sales. They will then return to the normal system, 60/40% in favor of the gallery. Ulysses wants to take his time and think about this proposal.
Alix then asks for help from Letitia, who has become the branch manager of the bank where she is employed. He asks his friend if he can help him re-establish some client contacts in order to expand his collector clientele. Unfortunately, for ethical reasons, Laetitia refuses to give him the information she needs.
