Emma Watson confessed to having to “remember to keep acting” after Rupert Grint’s “incredible” performance in a scene from the latest Harry Potter movie
Emma Watsoninterpreter of Hermione Granger in the franchise Harry Potter (2001), confessed that he had to “remember to act” after a performance of Rupert Grint in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 (2012). The star commented on in an interview with JoBlo.
“There is a scene where the brother of Rupert dies and the amazing thing about Rupert is that he is a very independent human being,” explained Watson. “It’s very rare to see him get emotional. The minute the camera starts rolling, he becomes this other person, and I think, ‘Where is this coming from?’”
According to the actress lovely women (2018), seeing him get emotional in the scene of the last film in the franchise, Watson had to refrain from praising the star: “Anyway, there’s a scene where he cries and I remember having to remind myself to keep acting because I just wanted to say, ‘You’re amazing! That was fantastic!’ I don’t know where he gets it from.”
The scene commented on by the star refers to the moment when Deathly Hallows: Part 2 on what Ron Weasley find the brother Fred killed during the Battle of Hogwarts. In the sequence, the young man begins to cry as he joins his family around the body of one of the twins.
Despite ending the saga in 2012, the magical universe of Harry Potter continued to be developed with the franchise fantastic beasts. The third accompanying film Newt Scamander, Fantastic Beasts: Dumbledore’s Secrets (2022), is scheduled to open in Brazilian theaters on April 14.
