This is where it all begins: Disaster Prom Night, Upcoming Characters, Hortense Secret … Producer’s Revelations About The Following Stories

After the start of the year marked by the departure of Clement Remien, the controversy between Laetia and Clotilda, the vegan intrigue dedicated to Jasmine and Anais, or even the birth of the Theo-Celia couple, it all starts to be interesting here. A few days later with Hortens (Katerine Davidzenka), whose viewer discovers the dark side through a huge unexpected mystery.

In early April, on the occasion of the Cannery Festival, Sarah Farahmand, producer of TF1’s daily soap opera, returned to our microphone to establish Post-Maxime and laughed at what awaited us in the future. Weeks and months on the air.

From the prom, which will turn into a disaster in May, to the new intrigue in the Tessie family, with the first new student discussions we found here, it all starts at the beginning of the school year.

Alocine: At the beginning of 2022 was your biggest challenge with the authors, imagine the post-Maximian period, after the departure of Clement Remien?

Sarah Farahman : More challenging was to imagine his departure and make a departure that fit the meaning of the character. And also, it was necessary to prepare the ground enough to bring in other characters so that we would not have the feeling that the hero is leaving and the public would not say “what will be the series?”. So the subsequent Clement is finally quite well managed.

Maxime’s last story in January had a big guest in the form of Michel Saran. Are you planning to bring in other cooks in the series?

We saw that the return of the community was quite remarkable with the arrival of Michel Saran. We were lucky to have played well (laughs). One of my big reservations about bringing in real chefs to play their role was acting, in the case of Michel Saran, the fact that she was accustomed to filming pitches and cameras took away a dose of stress I think. He knows how to do it.

She talked a lot about cooking for character modeling. But he also did well in scenes where he had to talk about other issues, such as when he offered Maxime to leave the institute to open his own restaurant in San Francisco.

So we are thinking of bringing in others anyway, but after that it must be really random to be subject to it. But yes, we have that in mind. We have a small list.

Is it possible to have real kitchens under the influence?

Why not. That would be a good idea, yes.

What about the following plots?

In the following episodes we discover the dark side of Hortense. We know him from the beginning, super positive, optimistic, he always sees the sun everywhere. He always tries to make everything positive. But it also has a dark side. He has blues moments, moments when he gets angry at others. And we learn that he expresses this in a video blog.

His videos will be spread and his friends, his relatives, will be upset and say: “But why are you saying these horrors about us? Where are you betraying our secrets?”. Because some of the characters will feel betrayed and secrets will be revealed. Gaetani, for example, will be one of the “victims” of these videos.

In fact, it all hides a greater weakness in him that we will discover. We wanted to look at Hortense’s character by saying to ourselves, ‘How can we rewind it a little bit, but not too much?’ He should remain the character we know, and at the same time, the public has the impression that something is being learned about him.

And after this arch we will have a prom story that will turn into questions about the disaster, the person responsible for the disaster and the consequences of the most injured.

Will the salt marshes remain in the series despite the departure of the sisters’s Riviera and Noem?

Yes, of course. This is an environment that the community likes very much and that allows you to leave the institute even if no one has ever been bored with a closed session before. For our part, we are amazed every day when we go to jail. But going out from time to time is good. We are always thinking about what we can re-invent on salt marshes and have a few ideas for next year.

There will also be small events in future episodes that will allow the Institute’s heroes to do extra work on the salt marshes. We will see this specifically with Amber and Enzo.

We also know that the Tessier family is focused on a future plot program…

Yes, we are going to meet Axel’s father (Thomas and Costa). We have heard a lot about this. For us, Axel was also interested in learning more about Emmanuel. ᲡWhere is he from? How did he have to fight? Is it related to parents and family? We finally find Teis’s brother.

Explain next year. The end of the school year and exams are approaching. Can we imagine saying goodbye to some of the recurring characters this summer?

You will see this (laughs). We are trying to renew. We also have the reality of production. The demand for our actors starts elsewhere. We are very happy for them because we are proud to say that it definitely starts with a small thanks to everything here that they have gained progress and awareness.

For us this is what we dream of for our actors. We know that an actor is not meant to play just one role, so we always try to make a schedule so that he can do other things. But it also means that if the actor is not there for two months, it can be irritating. This is a profit from all sides.

Will we have the right to a new big summer arch this year?

absolutely. There you will have a prom, an ark that will interest the Tessier family, which is slightly shaken. After that we will have exams at the end of the year and then a summer ark which, like last year, will be held partly outside the institute for some students. And then the competition at the beginning of the school year and that’s it.

That’s what it’s all about here: this mix of meetings. We know that from the last week of August to the end of September we have exams, competitions, new recruits. We are currently working on the characters of the 3rd season. this is very interesting. This is one of the moments we prefer because we feel youthful. We want to go back three years when we started the series.

And then we wonder what we might be missing, what is very relevant, what kind of character is in another series that we do not have yet, and what would it be like with ITC sauce, what are the connections with the characters that we already have. I think we have an interesting promo.

Some casting announcements related to these characters also leaked in early April…

Half. That is, we are working on discussing these characters with TF1. We have maybe six characters to come. In 24 hours it does not spoil, we stand in front of the horse-drawn carriage. We are now starting to cast the bait in agreement with the casting director. There is little to be said for the characters to wish for and for the actors to identify themselves.

We are always interested. Should it be considered a leak if the noise it makes is still pleasant? To understand the number, the casting director announced it on Friday, April 1st. Some actors got it on their social networks. In two hours he received 500 emails. At 5 p.m., he received 2000. His mailbox crashed.

For him it is not very funny, but for us it proves that the interest in the series still exists, that people want to participate in it and it makes us very happy. If we were told that he received two letters, I think we would be very angry (laughs). This is a testament to the fact that there is always strong excitement and I hope we raise calls in the actors and help them in their courage. Two years ago, Nicolas Anselmo responded to a secret ad. He never did that. And the rest we know.

Anyway, the names of the characters are often valid names in casting announcements, that’s not final, is it?

Yes, these are names that can be changed. And then these are just the first names. We are not talking about their secret, we are not telling their link, because there are a lot of them who have connections with characters we know. This is something that can evolve and we want to find characters. Sometimes someone goes through Salome casting and becomes Celia. This was the case with Rebecca Benhamur, for example.

Prime is where it all begins, despite the success of the series, is it still not on the agenda?

No. We are very good at our time and with our audience. The bonus is not an end in itself. This is not a sign of success. Success for us is when you are in Canneseries and you see people screaming to come in, you feel the public attraction or when you receive 2000 emails because people want to be in the series. It gives us much more pleasure than telling ourselves that we will have to do a bonus. It’s so hard to do that I do not dream at night.
