On Tuesday, August 30, it all starts here…

Early in the morning, Axel is worried about the entrance exam to the institute, because he was narrowly selected by finishing 50th in the second exam. At the roommate, Jasmine, Greg, and Elliott reassure her: she still has time to climb the rankings and make it to the top 20 candidates while knocking Ethan off her pedestal.

Meanwhile, Elder Cardone is reading to his son in the car to prepare for his second test. He knows full well that with Chef Teisier at the helm, they must expect the worst. However, Ethan worries that the other candidates will hate him for this behavior, but his mother tells him that he won’t think that way when he has restaurants all over the world. Then, as he gets out of the car, Ethan is confronted by Samia, who is ready to fight for first place.

Hortense, on the other hand, is confident that her sister will appear in the next two rounds. And if Mehdi and Elliot don’t understand her behavior towards Vicki, she explains to them that her sister is a real poison and that she pretends to be beautiful in front of others. Hortense thinks Vicky’s intentions are bad and she has an idea.

A little later, Claire explains to the candidates that the second test will assess their ability to present to the hierarchy by placing a third-year student in the role of clerk. They will have to make a recipe from Auguste Armand in four hours and obey the chef. After the lottery, the couples: David and Mehdi; Solal and Lionel; Vic and Hortense; Billy and Elliot; Axel and Salome replace a sick student; Samia and Louis; Mia and Louise; And finally Ethan and Greg.

The event started in the kitchens. Axel wants to change the recipe, but Salome tells him it’s impossible. However, the young man stands by it and believes that adaptation will allow him to stand out. But Salome insists: this is not an order. According to him, Axel will be able to distinguish himself by leaving a perfect plate.

In turn, Hortense points out to Vic that he didn’t cut the vegetables properly. And when her little sister points out her request, the third year replies that if her cut isn’t perfect, the kitchen won’t be either. Vicky then tries to calm the situation down, but Hortense asks him to withhold her number, as she’s sure he told his parents behind his back that he quit medical school to cook. However, the candidate assures her that this is not the case, but Hortense knows that she needed money at the time to finance her internship. According to him, this is not accidental.

A little later, Hortense throws away her little sister’s zucchini tempura, which she finds too greasy. Vicki thinks she won’t have time to start over and accuses her of wanting revenge. Claire then decides to intervene, reminding him that he must obey his hierarchy. This accident could cost him points…

Claire checks on the behavior of all the groups: Elliot asks Billy to refine his paizan, Lionel points out to Solal that his sauce is too sour, and Greg asks Ethan to pour his caponata on the Chinese when he finishes the tempura. The atmosphere between the groups is extremely tense and the tone is starting to rise.

Ethan has to take the china, but it was used by Axel, who didn’t have time to clean it. Cardone’s son then loses patience and feels that he is trying to waste time. His behavior does not upset his nephew Teyssier, who decides to restore the vessel on the pretext that he still needs it. Ethan then brings Greg to a Chinese man in underwear who yells in front of everyone that he better hurry up so he doesn’t miss the competition. And in the background of his remarks, Ethan is also kidnapped, which does not escape Chief Guinot. Finally, out of regret, Axel decides to borrow the utensils he needs.

Shortly after the ordeal, Axel admits to Ethan that he wanted to put spokes in the wheels. Cardone’s son, who knows he wasn’t very nice to him either, thinks they’ve left for now. Two young people decide to start from scratch and then shake hands.

At the same time, Samia and Billy try to boost Vicki’s morale, which is at an all-time low. The young woman thinks that her older sister has deliberately sabotaged her and knows that she risks not succeeding in the competition. But upon seeing Mehdi’s arrival, he calms down and declares to his friends that he is very worried about the situation with Hortense.

Meanwhile, David tries to get closer to Salome with flattery. He also thinks he has too much influence in the institution, enough to change his ranking. However, Salome sends him for a walk, but this does not deter the candidate, who has already looked at another young woman he noticed while talking to her.

Solal is completely disappointed after his ordeal with Lionel in the dressing room. Axel then wants to change his mind and suggests he go to a coffee shop for a drink. The young man was finally convinced, but he had to do something before he left. Once alone, Solal drinks a potion she had hidden in her locker, which doesn’t escape Ethan, who watches her from afar. Does Solal accept doping products?

Rose explains to Antoine that she can’t find a solution with the budget allocated for housing the graduate students. Also, Ambre arrives to inform them that she has a housing problem, as the new owner of Gaisaki’s house is coming soon. He explains to them that he plans to rent it out, and that he and Solal unfortunately don’t fit his criteria. The director assures that he has the right to be accommodated as a student of the institute and they will find a solution. Rose, for her part, seems to already have an idea.

A little later, Rose meets the new owner of Gaisak’s house in a coffee shop and explains her idea: to rent the building to students. Unfortunately, the owner of the building imagined that the house would be rented to a family that would agree to take over the operation, rather than a gang of youths who could raid the property. Rose assures him that the institute will act as a guarantee and the house will be one of its annexes. Faced with his arguments, the owner accepts.

At the Institute, Rose confides in her sister that she has finally found a way to accommodate the students. However, Clotilda thinks that they cannot leave the students so far from the institute and unsupervised. After all, something could happen to them and it would be the school’s responsibility. Then Rose comes up with an idea to get their backs: make a kind of good behavior contract for the students who have gone to live in the swamps. But his plan does not convince Chef Armand, who refuses to approve it.
