The Baptist is concerned. After waking up alone in bed in the middle of the night, he tries in vain to reach Justine on the phone when the young woman finally returns to the apartment. Baptiste tries to find out where he was and Justin claims he just went to run away. She is concerned to see that Baptiste is worried about her.

The next day, Baptiste, Justin and their colleagues inspect the scene of last night’s fire. Justin quickly spotted an abalone shell in an area that was not a priority. Colonel Gransard is surprised but congratulates Justine on this new clue that may lead them to the trail of the burn. Justin does not want to let go, he knows that if he is part of the burning Jordan sect, it can be very dangerous, because Jordan is unpredictable. It seems that the Baptist finds Justin’s behavior more and more suspicious

Later, Baptiste confides in Emma. He explains to her that Justine disappeared in a fire in the middle of the night, and that he accidentally found the abalone shell a little earlier. Baptiste is suspicious and criticizes Emma for putting ideas in her head. He doesn’t know what to think anymore. Emma then informs him that if Justin is guilty, they might finally find each other and start a family again.

After being drugged by Vanessa without his knowledge, Romain wakes up with a terrible headache. The doctor wants to take paracetamol, but his new girlfriend suggests that he make peppermint tea, which he says is a much more effective natural remedy.

At the same time, Emily and Sylvia, when they hear on the radio that a fire is ravaging the area not far from where Vanesa and Romain are, Emily and Sylvia begin to worry about their friend. Especially since they have no news. So Sylvia suggests that Emily ask Patrick for help to block Romain’s phone. He goes even further and suggests that it would be good for Patrick to know about Vanessa.

At the police station, Patrick reassures Emily that firefighters are responsible for evacuating anyone who is at risk of fire. Therefore, Romain is not in danger. Emily convinces him to do some research on Vanessa. Patrick then discovers that Romain’s new partner was the subject of a harassment and abuse of power complaint at work several years ago. Vanessa forced several employees to burn themselves and she was fired.

Meanwhile, in Vanessa’s shed, Vidal is desperately searching for her medicine kit. He needs it to prevent his symptoms from returning. Convinced that the herbs were more effective than the potion, Vanessa actually hid Romaine’s kit. Taking advantage of the bathroom, she carefully empties the medicine bottle into the kitchen sink.

Although Simon’s condition does not improve, Eric falls. He had clearly spent the night drinking. Ariane, worried that she hasn’t heard from him, visits him in his hotel room. When she finds him in this state, Ariane becomes furious and asks Eric to stop and react. They finally have a chance to get Simon’s ex Mark Runquin back. Eric asks her to forget about it, but Ariane insists. He refuses to see his friend sink and begins to cry. So Eric agrees to hide with her at the Place du Mistral.

After waiting a bit, they finally see Mark arrive and arrest him. During questioning, Mark admits that on August 12, he was in a bar not far from Eric and Simon’s house and was drunk. He even fought. But Mark continues to proclaim his innocence and, unlike Ariane, Eric isn’t entirely convinced that he’s guilty. He thinks maybe Mark is just a poor guy.

While the wolf she meets in the forest never leaves her, Lola goes to pick figs. On his way back, he encounters a shepherd who reminds him that wild camping is forbidden and advises him to leave. He is armed with a rifle and claims it is to protect his sheep. Indeed, the wolf killed his three beasts in the night. Realizing that he is trying to kill the wolf, Lola claims that she has not seen the animal. But it seems that the shepherd is determined to kill the predator that attacked his sheep. Lola then threatens to call the police, but the individual becomes threatened and destroys the teenager’s phone.

Lola was supposed to call Killian at a specific time, but the young man did not hear from her. He starts thinking about his sister and expresses his concern to Sunale. Killian decides to call it a night. If he doesn’t hear anything the next day, he will talk to Gabriel and Thomas.

Meanwhile, in the forest, Lola does her best to scare the wolf to protect her. But when the animal goes, he hears a gunshot.
