The “She-Hulk: Defender of Heroes” series hasn’t said goodbye to Emil Blonsky the Abomination yet. Actor Tim Roth, who plays the reformed villain, released in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter that he even filmed a scene with Mark Ruffalo, the Bruce Banner / Hulk, for the series.
“I always wanted to work with him, and it ended up happening, which was fun,” Roth said.
In the interview, he revealed that the two joked about changing the Hulk’s performers. It is worth mentioning that in “The Incredible Hulk” (2008), the film that introduced the Abomination, which gave birth to the Emerald Giant, was Edward Norton.
“I don’t know if it was for the show, but when I watched it, I said ‘you’re fat, there’s something different about you …’ We joked and were encouraged to improvise, so we talked about it.” , explained the actor.
Roth hasn’t revealed in which chapter the encounter with the Hulk airs, but the scene may have been cut, as the plot already showed the hero going into space. Even so, participation can still appear in a post-credits scene in another context.
“She-Hulk: Defender of Heroes” was developed by Jessica Gao, screenwriter of the animation “Rick and Morty” and the sitcom “Corporate”, and features Tatiana Maslany (“Orphan Black”) as Jennifer Walters, a lawyer who during the day, finds herself transformed into the superheroine called She-Hulk. But what at first looks like a problem soon becomes a great gimmick, as her new profile ends up attracting a new clientele, made up of suspicious superpowers.
