The Winchesters: The new trailer introduces the “Supernatural” prologue.

The American network The CW has released a new trailer for “The Winchesters”, a spin-off of the “Supernatural” series, which tells the story of Sam and Dean’s parents from the original series.

The preview shows how John Winchester met his future wife Mary Campbell during a demon attack in the 1970s.

The main characters are played by Meg Donnelly (“American Housewife”) and Drake Rodger (“Not Alone”). While Mary is presented as a nineteen year old who has fought the forces of darkness since childhood, John is a selfless veteran of the Vietnam War who finally discovers the existence of demons.

“The Winchesters” is directed by showrunner Robbie Thompson, who was co-executive producer on “Supernatural”, and is produced by Jensen Ackles, aka Dean. He must also participate as the narrator of the story.

The premiere is scheduled for October 11 in the United States, but there are no plans for a Brazilian release yet.
