Xuxa will premiere a new film. According to a column by Patricia Kogut in the newspaper O Globo, she will play a fairy in “Uma Fada Veio Me Visitar”, an adaptation of the homonymous book by Thalita Rebouças.
Interestingly, the book has already inspired another film, “É Fada” (2016), with Kéfera Buchmann and Klara Castanho, which was quite successful.
The plot follows Luna, a 13-year-old girl who doesn’t believe in fairies, but ends up receiving a visit from one of them and the two become great friends.
The production is by Patricia Chamon, of Ruby Produtora, and shooting will begin in November.
Xuxa is currently recording her participation in “Tarã”, a Disney + series in which she plays the role of a pharmacist and is the mother of the protagonist, a 14-year-old girl, descendant of a people originally from the Amazon. Angelica is also in the cast.
It is worth mentioning that Xuxa has already made a film with fairies, “Xuxa e os Duendes 2: No Caminho das Fadas”, released in 2002.
