It’s definitely time to say goodbye to Un si grand soleil. After Lucille (Alicia Dadun), Marilyn (Elizabeth Margon) and most recently Miriam (Pauline Paolini), Montpelier viewers are about to see another of their heroes leave the program for good.
On her way to Barcelona, where she worked as a correspondent, Lucille started a wave of departures.
Elizabeth Margon, the sparkling Marilyn’s interpreter, followed in her footsteps from August. However, the departure chosen by the actor’s confession to our microphone:
“It wasn’t the production that asked me to leave, it was me. I went because I live near Paimpol in Brittany and Un si grand soleil is filmed in Montpellier. I traveled for ten hours, sometimes for a stage and five lines, which was frankly exhausting. They understood very well.”.
If Marilyn now spends happy days in Morocco with Paul, the man with whom she found love again, the same cannot be said for Miriam, who had a tragic end in the episode broadcast on France 2 on August 19.
Indeed, the lifeless body of the general manager of L. Cosmétiques was discovered in the company’s warehouse after a robbery gone wrong.
On this subject, Pauline Paolini explained in our columns that “vsIt was a joint decision with the producer that Miriam’s character leaves“. And let’s continue: “True, I wanted to leave more time and space for other projects. It was good to get some great experience and leave. So to really stop, the character has to die. Otherwise, we are always in some unresolved state.“
While die-hard Everyday Life fans were certainly hoping for a little respite after these three major departures, they will unfortunately find out at the end of the week that another character will be flying to another sky.
According to our colleagues at Télé Poche, actress Léonie Dahan-Lamore, who has been lending her features to Camille since 2019, has also decided to leave the series. Thus, his character Montpellier will travel to Korea this Friday, September 9.
At the end of this emotional summer, we now hope to find a little more peace under the southern sun.
