The Ahsoka series will feature a character from “Star Wars: Rebels”

The character was first introduced in 2014, as the protagonist of the animated series “Star Wars: Rebels” – voiced by Taylor Gray. He is still back in the animated series “Star Wars: Force of Fate”, of 2018. But he had never been seen in a live-action production, with real actors.

Ezra Bridger was born from an idea of ​​producer Dave Filoni, who also created Ahsoka Tano, the title character of the new attraction. In addition, he is one of the mentors of the streaming series “Star Wars” and responsible for the creation of the new production.

Ahsoka was introduced as Anakin Skywalker’s apprentice in the 2008 animated series “Star Wars: Clone Wars” and made her first flesh-and-blood appearance in “The Mandalorian,” which ushered in the distant galaxy of “Star Wars” in world of streaming. . As in “The Mandalorian”, she will be played by Rosario Dawson (“Luke Cage”).

Initially, “Ahsoka” would be set around the same time as “The Mandalorian”, which is about five years after the events of “Return of the Jedi”. However, this period is after Vader’s death. Since Ahsoka was Anakin’s padawan, it is possible that the character’s cameo takes place via flashbacks or that he returns as a “ghost of force”.

But the series could also be set in another period, closer to the plot of “Obi-Wan Kenobi” – between “Revenge of the Sith” and “A New Hope”.
