Daniel Radcliffe commits to the follies (and fashion sense) of “Weird Al” Yankovic in a new trailer for WEIRDbiopic of the famous American songwriter and parody singer.
The film is described as “the true and not exaggerated story of the greatest musician of our time”, but in reality the plot delves deeply into fantasy – even inventing an affair with Madonna (Evan Rachel Wood) which, apparently, never existed.
Still, the film promises to “spare no detail” of the story of “Weird Al” Yankovicincluding his “torrid celebrity affairs and famously depraved lifestyle”.
Quinta Brunson (Abbott Elementary) will live Oprah Winfrey; While Rainn Wilson (The Office) plays the broadcaster who discovered Yankovic, Dr. Dement; Toby Huss (King of the Hill) and Julianne Nicholson (Mare of Easttown) are the parents of “Weird Al”.
WEIRD’s premiere was scheduled for November 4th at USA, by streaming Roku, not yet available here. the arrival at Brazil was not correct.
