It was on the stage of the D23 exhibition that the Lucasfilm team presented the first images of its new Star Wars series, Tales of the Jedi. First announced in May, this anthology project follows the fortunes of several Jedi in six stories, six short films of 15 minutes each.
These six episodes will focus on two main characters: Ahsoka Tano and Count Dooku, the fallen Jedi played by Christopher Lee in George Lucas’ saga. The three episodes centered on his character follow his fall to the dark side.
More good news for fans: Tales of the Jedi is a series created by Clone Wars and Mandalorian co-creator Dave Filoni, as well as Charles Murray. First of all, Liam Neeson reprises his role as Qui-Gon Jinn. The actor will name his character for the older version, and his son Michael Richardson will provide his voice for the younger version.
