On Thursday, September 15, it all starts here…

Early in the morning, Tessier is very angry with his nephew for protecting Ethan. On the one hand, Charlene thinks that Chef Cardone’s son should be fired immediately, and on the other hand, Axel and Theo believe that the doping products did not make him a better cook. When his nephew tries to figure out what sanction he’s about to receive, the boss tells him it’s none of his business.

Meanwhile, Ethan confesses the whole truth about the doping drugs to his mother. The elder regrets that he did not see his son’s distress earlier and tries to understand the reasons for it. Then the student admits to him that he started taking substances. However, he insists that it started a few weeks ago because he wanted to exercise. The young man understands that his place in the institute is compromised and is already thinking about looking for a job. In turn, Annabelle points out to him that with her reputation that wouldn’t be possible, but then she seems to have an idea to keep him out of the institute.

A little later, Ethan admits to Chef Teyssier and Antoine that he took doping products during the competition. He then promises them that he’s completely stopped and takes Axel as a witness. Then suddenly, the elder Cardone interrupts their conversation with a startling revelation: he forced his son to dope in order to compete. Annabelle decided to tell them the truth so that her son would not pay for his mistakes. Emmanuel and Antoine are then stunned.

Amber discovers the truth about Ethan and informs Tom and Solal. The sophomore wants to confront her, but the young woman manages to convince him not to. Tom then decides to send a message to the Institute group to let everyone know.

Chef Arman, on the other hand, knows about Ethan and believes that he should be released from the institute immediately. However, Emmanuelle and Antoine explain to her that the situation is not so simple as her mother has been pushing her to take amphetamines. Clotilda then suggests that Chief Cardon lied to protect his son. Teissier, however, is confident that he will not put his reputation in jeopardy. He also knows his methods very well.

At the same time, Ethan is at his worst since he quit amphetamines. Annabelle then brings him water in the park to hydrate him. The young man still does not understand why his mother lied to cover him up, the latter explains to him that she did it because she knows his passion for cooking. Ethan admits that he has stopped taking his meds, but he is afraid that he will not overcome the withdrawal. Her mother assures her that she is strong enough to do it and in front of others.

As he enters the kitchen, Ethan is pushed by Solal, but Samia quickly stands between them. Afterwards, Cardone’s son discovers the word “cheat” in the work plan, which annoys Chef Armand.

At the end of the day, Ethan thanks Samia for her kindness. He then offers her to go for a walk with him a little later, but she declines. Indeed, the young woman does not want to spend time with him, because she believes that he cheated and took someone else’s place. The young man admits that he was not proud of her, but thought he would understand why she wanted to be the best. She then begs him not to leave because she doesn’t want their relationship to end like this. The young woman tells him that nothing will happen between them.

Antoine asks Claire for her opinion on hiring his son as a new professor at the institute. Chef, for his part, doesn’t think it’s a good idea because, humanly speaking, Louie doesn’t do tricks. And he’s convinced he’d better prove himself elsewhere before admitting it would be better for their relationship.

Later, Emanuel finally changed his mind about Louis’ candidacy. According to him, the young man is certainly not the best as a person, but he already knows that he is a good teacher. Antoine admits that he’s been amazing at helping sophomores get into the institute, but fears that hiring him will cause problems for Claire. However, the chef and director agree that he is the best candidate for the job.

Teissier tells Louis the good news a little later, but explains that it doesn’t change his mind: he’s not getting close to his daughter. He also gives her the nasty pleasure of revealing to her that her mother tried to keep them from employing her at the Institute.

At the end of the day, Louis and Charlene celebrate their hiring with a glass of champagne. Then Claire learns that her son got the job, but she doesn’t change her position. According to him, it would be better for everyone to leave the institute.

The wizard pre-login has arrived! The students are gathered in the amphitheater and are eagerly waiting for Rosa. Anais and Salome find it difficult to hide their stress and calm themselves. For his part, Enzo fears that this mastermind will fail because Rose is not a chef. Livio did not know this information and hopes that everything in Italy was not dropped in vain. Charlene joins in the next conversation, having heard a lot about the Sicilian from her father. Unexpectedly, the young man starts flirting with her, but she immediately cuts off his advances and shows him her engagement ring.

Rose greets the students and tells them that from now on they will no longer be seen as students, but as leaders. He assures them that the master will enable them to acquire the necessary skills to implement their projects through master classes and modules led by institute leaders or guests. And if the serious business doesn’t start until next week, he’s got a great treat for them: a two-day pre-entry with multi-star chef Cecil Mayer.

A little later, the young cooks happily attend a demonstration by Cecil Mayer. He shows them how to make his langoustine gyoza, a recipe he considers simple and balanced. When Salome admits she couldn’t get past the first stage of the dish, the chef tells them that if they’ve made it this far, it’s because they can trust each other. In turn, Charlene tells them that Cecil Meyer is known for starting or stopping his career in the middle.

At the end of the day, Rose confesses to Cecil that she deliberately lied to the students about the length of her teaching at the institute. Indeed, he decided to do so so that they would give him his best from the start. The chef has not yet seen them cook, but he is already convinced that the level exists. Salome and Anais then want to thank him for the masterclass and are surprised to find that he remembered their names.
