On August 26, France 2 began broadcasting season 3 of Astrid and Raphael, its flagship detective series directed by Sarah Mortensen and Lola Devaer, which follows a duo of investigators like no other.
The first, Astrid Nielsen, is an autistic criminal consultant who will help the second, Rafael Coste, the head of the crime squad, to solve investigations, each more original than the next.

Until now, two new episodes of the detective series were aired every Friday. But tonight, 2 will offer just one new episode of Season 3 before continuing to rehash the previous season. The finale of these new episodes, originally scheduled for this Friday, has therefore been postponed to Friday 23 September at 9.10pm.
After airing its first episode in 2019, Astrid and Rafael quickly became one of the channel’s safe bets. Thus, season 2 gathered an average of 5.39 million viewers, which allowed the series to appear in the ranking of the most watched French series of 2021, across all channels combined.
And the third season is on the same pace. Last week, Astrid and Rafael defeated TF1 and its magician Dance with the Stars, managing to gather about 5.23 million curious people, or an audience share of 28. .3%. Spectacular figures that probably forced France 2 to prolong the pleasure and postpone the broadcast of the third season finale for a week.
Due to its success, the detective series has also been renewed for a 4th season, which has already started shooting in the Paris region.
