Everything starts here: “Intrigue about Anais will impress the audience”

After getting excited about the new freshmen and Ethan Cardone (Rick Cleve) in particular, things changed here yesterday in a brand new storyline called “Cap or not cap” that finally gives pride of place to the character of “”. Anais (Julie Sasost), whose past and family history have never before been explored in a TF1 series.

It all begins with the arrival of a new chef, Cecil Meyer (Laurence Yael), at the institute, who asks the master’s students to express themselves through their creativity and create a dessert from old memories.

Resistant to this lesson, even though Mayer is her idol, Anais seems stuck and refuses to let go of her past. No one understands the behavior of a young student. Neither do Salome (Aurelie Pons) and Lisandro (Agustín Galiana), who don’t realize that Anais is hiding a painful memory from them that she seems to have hidden from her life for years.

And at the same time, David (Liam Helman), the first love of a young woman who is part of a new class of students at the institute, decides to take advantage of this moment of weakness to try to find Anais. whom he knew and loved. Especially by reviving the old game they used to play when they were together: Cap or not?

“We’ve learned there’s a secret between Anais and David. I can’t say more than that. But it’s a really special plot.”A few days ago, the director of the collection told us, and it all starts here, Othman Mahfoudi, as part of the La Rochelle Television Art Festival.

“It’s quite intimate. I think the audience will identify with it. These are stories that people have really experienced. And that allowed us to finally work on Anais. How she became this very serious young woman. It was interesting to show that she was the complete opposite. before and why it changed”.

“And then, with David, it allowed us to understand why we built him that way in the first place. It explains a lot. The public will understand some of the choices we made. It will make sense in the end, and I think the audience will be very touched.”.

And while Othman Mahfoud refuses to say more about Anais’s secret, which will be revealed this week, where it all begins, and about the rest of the story, which still promises to be rich in twists and turns, he does admit: “It’s a story about the past. There’s a huge scar in Anais’s past that I don’t think people suspect. It’s quite beautiful, but also quite tragic. It’s a story that will mark the audience.”.

If Anais’s parents are introduced in the series and who is this young man played by Valentin Duclos (Plus belle la vie) Story trailer released by TF1The mystery remains intact for now. “We’re going to meet his family, but if I say more, I risk giving away too many keys.”Just confides in Othman Mahfud about the great ark dedicated to Anais and David.
