A Better Life Preview: Episode Summary for Thursday, September 22, 2022 [SPOILERS]

Faced with Pavel’s threat, Luna replies that she doesn’t believe him and is bluffing. However, his ex-lover claims to have evidence to bring down one of his relatives. Luna finally leaves the room without acting…

The next day, Luna confides in Bastien. She thinks that Pavel is ready to reveal Claire and Leo’s involvement in Moose’s escape. He is sure that she has nothing against him. She decides not to stay under his influence anymore and calls the police about her stay at the hotel.

Luna then rushes to warn Pavel so he can run away. However, it remains for him to show the video that he recovered thanks to Juan Carrillo: we see Bastien, in Thailand, killing a man in the middle of the street. That’s why Pavel threatens to give this video to the police. Bastien faces extradition to Thailand and 15 years in prison.

When Leo and Patrick arrive at Zephyr Hall, Luna pretends to be mistaken. He says that he took a client for Pavel and made a mistake. The police still suspect Luna of threats and manipulation.

To find out for sure, they decide to search the hotel rooms. When they knock on Pavel’s bedroom door, Bastien opens the door for them. The latter claims that he slept elsewhere after arguing with Luna. Patrick looks inside and confirms that Pavel is not there. Leo then wishes Bastien to reconcile with his companion. Bastien closes the door. Pavel, hiding next to him, congratulates him on fooling the police.

After a while, Luna overhears Akira talking to the new hotel guests. When she recognizes Stan and Lorraine Fournier, she steps in to protect her stepdaughter. Luna then asks them to leave. But Pavel forces him to greet them…

Roland arrived at the Mistral Bar and noticed that Killian was up early for the opening. The latter admits that this allows him to make more profit in the morning. He also took the opportunity to reflect on their shared idea: to combine Killian’s business sense with Roland’s traditional cuisine.

So they start preparing the day’s meal in the kitchen. Thomas goes to see them, doubting that Mistral’s bar clientele will appreciate the package again. But Killian and Roland revisit Mistral’s burger recipe.

At lunch service, Killian convinces Sunale to taste it and pay him back if he doesn’t like it. The young girl does not know that she is eating tripe and admits that the burger is delicious. At the next table, Jules and his two friends order the same thing.

At the end of the service, Killian and Roland make a report: they managed to sell 38 burgers. They are happy with this success. Then Mirta joins them. Roland takes the opportunity to ask for news. As Noah passes them, Roland invites him to join them for a chat. Then he notices that Killian and Noah aren’t talking to each other anymore.

As the next lesson approaches, a stressed-out Laetitia asks Kevin to review his historical-geo papers. After a few questions, Kevin points out that Mom has all the right answers and she just needs to learn how to handle the pressure.

In Scotto, Noah and Betty openly mock Laetitia and her lack of skills. Nisma understands them and finds them pitiful. He still accepts the bet they make: 20 euros to prove that Laetitia is not made to be a teacher.

During class, Noah takes Leticia on his cell phone without her knowledge and deliberately asks her sensitive questions. He asks her to specifically compare Robespierre and Pétain. Laetitia momentarily loses her powers.

At the end of the lesson, Leticia goes to Rochat’s office to tell him what happened. However, he has noticed that the students have finally calmed down, which he interprets as an encouraging sign. In fact, Noah and Betty create a montage of the pictures they take before sharing the video on social media.
