Andor on Disney+: Internet users are excited about the new Star Wars series

September 21st was marked in the calendars of all lovers of the series with a white stone, because it marked the arrival of Andor on Disney +! After the success of Obi-Wan Kenobi, The Mandalorian and Boba Fett books, the platform offers a chance to delve into the story of Cassian Andor, the prominent hero of Rogue One: Star Wars.

5 years before the mission on Scarif, Cassian is a spy and involved in the beginnings of the resistance against the rise of the dreaded galactic empire. And the least we can say is that the first 3 episodes of the series have lived up to their promises, if we are to believe the barrage of messages from Rev that have been pouring in on Twitter.

Darker, more mature: this was the first impression many viewers had after watching Andor’s debut.

The staging was particularly well-received by subscribers, who emphasized the darkness between film noir and science fiction.

In terms of parallel development in 2 camps (among the rebels and in the heart of the Empire), the series and its ambitious narrative take time to establish the atmosphere and its characters, without forgetting to offer breathtaking scenes!

“The photography in the series is so beautiful, every shot is perfect down to the smallest detail.”

Diego Luna, donning the costume of Cassian Andor once again, has clearly won over the public once again.

“I could watch an entire episode of Diego Luna and still love him.”

“This series is great and Diego Luna is brilliant.”

A sentiment shared by the rest of the cast, from Adria Ariona to Kyle Soler, along with B2EMO, the lovable droid of course!

“The world is not ready for Adria Ariona in Bix Caleen.”

“I really like this character (Cyril Carney, editor’s note). Possibly my favorite performance in the Star Wars series.”

“I’ve only known B2EMO for a day and a half… but if anything happens to him, I’ll kill everyone and then me.

Despite being set between Episodes III and IV of the Kino saga, the series willingly departs from the characters developed in the trilogies. It has distanced itself from the Jedi and the Force to better focus on the conflict between the Rebels and the Empire, which has failed to satisfy internet users.

Episode 4 will be on the platform on September 28, with a new episode every Wednesday, until the finale, which is scheduled for November 23. In the meantime… we’ll have to be patient!

“Waiting for Andor episode 4…”
