Monday, September 26 Tomorrow belongs to us…

The police are formal: Danny is not the author of the attempted murder of Benjamin Ventura. The gun found in his home did not match the gun used in the parking lot, and one of his neighbors eventually admitted that Danny was at work when the shooting happened. So Martin and his men don’t have any more bullets, which doesn’t please Prosecutor Perot.

Leo, on the other hand, is struggling to recover from Friday’s events. She wonders if Dan is as violent as Stanislas. Audrey reassures him: Danny and Stanislas are two completely different people. No one killed Mattis’ father, he was simply overwhelmed by the situation and is not a bad person. And what happened will not change anything in his friendship with Matt: the two boys will be able to continue seeing each other, Leo’s greatest happiness.

Georges eventually received a recording of the call from Central SAMU, which alerted the emergency services for Benjamin. Karim is sure that it is a woman’s voice. A muffled voice seemed to cover his mouth. If this call rules out that this woman is responsible for what happened to Ventura, the two police officers note that she called 911 on the doctor’s phone and then took care to erase her fingerprints. They have no doubt that he does not want to be involved in this case and of course he has already had to deal with the police.

At the hospital, Alma meets Mathieu, a man she and Benjamin met during a humanitarian mission in Burkina Faso. Matthew explains to Alma that he had to go on a new mission when he found out what happened to Benjamin. So he decided to postpone his departure and come from her. He admits to Alma that he feels a sense of solidarity, after all they went through together in Burkina. Seeing Sara and the policeman coming their way, Mathieu makes a hasty exit to leave Alma alone. The latter then learns from Sarah that there will be a police guard in front of Benjamin’s room.

On the bank’s surveillance footage, which is located at the entrance to the parking lot where Benjamin was shot, Karim, Georges and Sara see a man wearing a purple hat getting into a car. But Georges made an even more startling discovery: the driver who picked him up after the shooting was none other than Etienne Curtis.

At the high school, Etienne explains to Karim and Nordin that he only wanted to help this young man, who seemed troubled and didn’t ask himself any questions. A young man in a purple T-shirt looked panicked and claimed to have had a scooter accident. He was holding his right hand and it seemed that he was in pain. So Etienne dropped her off in front of the hospital’s emergency room. But Nordin is convinced that the individual they’re looking for didn’t show up at the ER and was lying. Karim thinks that he is a witness to an assassination attempt on Benjamin, who was simply afraid of reprisals.

Thanks to the testimony of a pharmacist who had touched the man they were looking for that morning, the police learned that he had suffered a gunshot wound two or three days earlier. Which confirms the inconvenient witness hypothesis. The pharmacy’s cameras were unfortunately turned off, but the young man left a photo in front of the pharmacy counter, with which Karim asked Georges to analyze this key witness as soon as possible.

At the hospital, Mariana informs Alma that they will have to operate on Benjamin. This is a serious operation that is not without risks. So Marianna asks Alma to stop. A few seconds later, Alma’s son Hadrian appears behind him, dressed in the famous purple shirt and wounded in the arm. So he is a witness! But when he sees a policeman in the corridor, Hadrian runs out, Alma did not have time to see him.

Sylvain gets dressed to go to a supposed job interview. However, he refuses to tell Christel more out of prejudice and hurries out of the hotel room.

Filled with doubts, Christel joins Charlie at the spoon and confides in him that she suspects Sylvain is having an affair. He thinks he has seen unmistakable signs. And she doesn’t forget that her husband cheated on her before. But Charlie doesn’t believe it for a second and swears to Christel that she’s the only woman who matters to Sylvain.

Kristel, unmoved, goes to question Alex at the farm. He tries to say that Sylvain has a mistress, but Alex promises that he doesn’t. Only Kristel sees that she is embarrassed and accuses her husband of covering up.

But, in fact, Sylvain is not cheating on his wife at all. He’s just trying to surprise her: he found his dream house!

At the firm, Rafael tells Gabriel the tasks he must complete during his internship. She will take care of reception, switchboard, legal secretary, mail, voice memos and errands. Gabriel seems very motivated. So Raphael decides to offer to accompany her to the guest room this afternoon. Gabriel is excited. But his enthusiasm is quickly put to the test. Soraya hands him a whole bunch of files to file and asks him to make her some coffee. And, at the same time, the office phone is already ringing.

At the prison, Raphael talks to Dan Mazur in his visiting room. On the brink, Mathis’s father gets angry and orders his lawyer to get him out of jail. Raphael asks to calm down. He explains to Dan that the charges he is being accused of are very serious and that he will do whatever it takes to prevent him from committing the murders. He knows that he loves his son and wants to help him very much. Therefore, he suggests that he devise a strategy for his defense.

Later, at the office, Gabriel announces a discovery in Dan’s file: he thinks he’s found a procedural flaw. But Raphael makes him realize that this is not so. Gabrielle feels ridiculous, although she was sure of herself. Raphael assures her that it doesn’t matter, that he was just looking for a loophole that would work in their favor, and that he’s on the right track. And then he asks his new intern to stay tonight to dig deeper and investigate Mazur’s case.
