Netflix has released a video with the first scenes of the action thriller “Heart of Stone”, starring and produced by Gal Gadot (the “Wonder Woman”). Published in Tudum, the preview features intense scenes of persecution and violence, as well as interviews and behind-the-scenes details.
Unlike his first Netflix job, “Red Alert,” Gadot’s second film for the platform has a much more serious vibe, in the style of the “007” and “Mission: Impossible” productions.
There isn’t much plot information for now, but the video reveals that Rachel Stone, Gadot’s character, is an “adrenaline junkie” and apparently works with a team, which includes Jamie Dornan (“Fifty Shades of Gray”) and Indian Alia Bhatt (“RRR: Revolt, Rebellion, Revolution”).
The project was developed by the actress’s company, Pilot Wave, in collaboration with the Skydance studio specifically to be transformed into a franchise with several sequels.
“Heart of Stone” is written by comic book author Greg Rucka (creator of “The Old Guard”, also on Netflix) and Allison Schroeder (“Stars Beyond”), and Tom Harper directs (“The Old Guard”). Aeronauts “, by Amazon).
