Addictive Japanese series Alice in Borderland is coming back soon! It was during the TUDUM event that Netflix revealed the release month for Season 2 of this live-action adaptation of Haro Aso’s shonen of the same name.
Next December, fans of the series will be able to discover new episodes that promise to be as epic as the first season episodes that were a hit on the platform, if the first teaser released is to be believed.
Directed by Shinsuke Satō (Bleach), Alice in Borderland follows Arisu (Kento Yamazaki) and Usagi (Tao Tsuchiya) on their journey to an alternate Tokyo that transforms into a life-size escape game somewhere between Hunger Games, Cube and Battle Royale.
Their means of survival? Take part in deadly games, several levels of difficulty. All hits are allowed and the rest of the game promises to be bloody and gruesome for Season 2 of the series.
