Actor Jean Paulo Campos, who became famous for playing Cirilo in “Carrossel”, revealed racist attacks he suffered on the Internet. In his stories of him, he shared a screenshot with a comment on his photos of him with various monkey emojis and regretted starting the day that way. The name and photo of the person responsible for the racism were not disclosed.
“I don’t even like to keep posting this kind of message that I get here in DM, but I think sometimes it is necessary to open the eyes of the people there,” commented Jean.
Actress Lívia Silva, who was in the photos receiving the racist emojis, also commented on the attack. “Jean reposted such a happy moment for us at the end of a mega job and gets messages like this. Until when, huh?”.
On Sunday (26/9), Jean Paulo Campos recalled the success of “Carrossel” alongside Larissa Manoela in “Domingão do Huck”. Coincidentally, Cirilo and Maria Joaquina’s performers recently switched from SBT to Globo.
Jean Paulo Campos’ next work is the teen series “Musa Música”, on Globoplay.
