Marvel boss indicates the return of Scarlet Witch: “There is so much to explore”

Producer Kevin Feige, the true creative mind behind Marvel movies and series, has indicated that Scarlet Witch (played by Elizabeth Olsen) in the movie “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” was not the character’s last appearance.

In the film (spoiler!), Scarlet is shown dropping a castle on her as she destroys Darkhold, the evil book that turned her into a vengeful villain. The scene suggested the character’s death.

But Feige has a different interpretation. “I don’t know if we saw her under the rubble,” she said in an interview with Variety. “I saw a tower fall and a little red flash. I don’t know what that means.”

When asked about the possibility of bringing the character back into future projects (like the upcoming “X-Men” movie or the “Agatha: Coven of Chaos” series, about the “VandaVision” villain), Feige practically confirmed it.

“There’s really a lot more to explore,” he said. “We haven’t touched many of their major comic stories yet.”

The producer is a deep admirer of Elizabeth Olsen’s work, introduced to the Marvel Universe in the movie “Avengers: Age of Ultron” (2015), and has stated that she was always the only choice for the role.

“I’d work with Lizzie [Elizabeth Olsen] for another 100 years if we could, “he continues.” Anything is possible in the multiverse! We will have to see “.

Olsen herself recognizes this possibility. “I don’t think any of these characters have really disappeared,” she told the publication. She added that she wanted to see her character walk “towards some kind of redemption”.

However, the actress was adamant that she didn’t know any plans to bring her character back. “I don’t really know my future. There is nothing that has been closed,” she added.
